Alexis brings more than 20 years of experience in software engineering and machine learning acquired in both Europe and in the US. Prior to joining Praexo, Alexis worked for 10 years in Boston and Washington as lead data scientist in the higher education and healthcare sectors. Alexis has also accumulated broad experience working as an independent data science consultant for startups, academia and large companies. In parallel with his professional career, Alexis spent many years teaching data science at Ecole Polytechnique and is the author of a wide range of books and online courses on data science. Alexis also holds a Ph.D. from Telecom Paris in signal processing.
